Mr. Bal Krishen is a highly coveted, accomplished leader, and the dynamic Chairman and CEO of The Century Group. With more than three and a half decades of top-level management experience in financial markets and investment services, he leads a team of seasoned finance professionals with vision and integrity.

He commenced his capital markets and professional investment journey at The Century Group in the year 1999. He started off as an Investment Analyst, and steadily rising through the ranks to become a Director, and eventually, the Chairman. Over the years, he has built an outstanding track record in managing client relationships, inspiring teams, and delivering exceptional results with transparency and strategic foresight.

Under his leadership, The Century Group has continued to grow its legacy as one of region’s most trusted and innovative financial service providers.

Chamak Banarjee

Managing Director

Chamak Banarjee is an accomplished Senior Executive with over 25 years of Banking/Service/FMCG industry experience in product, people, event, services, sales and marketing management, working with leading banks in the Retail, SME, and Commercial Banking divisions. He brings extensive experience across diverse industries and has taken charge of the product and process development, along with relationship management of key UHNWI clients. Chamak plays a pivotal role in the company’s strategic development and participates in investment decisions and direction of the company, as well as client portfolios. His contribution has been remarkable in planning and executing key initiatives and identifying new opportunities to enhance the growth of many corporates across the region, with varying business sizes.

He stands by teamwork and dedication, as he is a firm believer of using these traits in actualizing one’s goals. His work is based on these core philosophies that offer prospective clients the value-driven services they need and desire.

Suhail Bin Tarraf

Managing Partner – CBB

Suhail Bin Tarraf is a seasoned banking executive with over two decades of leadership experience in the UAE’s financial sector. He currently serves as the Managing Partner at Century Bank Brokers, a Dubai-based firm specializing in the distribution of retail and commercial banking solutions.

Prior to his role, Suhail was the Group Chief Operating Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s largest bank by assets. He joined FAB in 2022 after serving as COO at Emirates Islamic Bank for five years. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Emirates NBD, including General Manager of Human Resources and CEO of its shared services subsidiary, Tanfeeth.

Suhail is recognized for his expertise in operational transformation, customer experience, and lean management. His leadership at Tanfeeth was profiled by McKinsey & Company, highlighting his emphasis on employee empowerment and process excellence.

In addition to his executive roles, Suhail serves on the board of Presight AI Holding PLC, reflecting his engagement with digital innovation in the region.
